It's been a busy seven days involving college baseball in South Carolina. South Carolina fans gets thrown under the bus by Paul Mainieri; Injuries strike Clemson, Coastal Carolinas; Morris College enjoying hot streak; Upcoming weekend schedule includes junior college showdown series.

Before we get to the fun stuff, learn why former USC Sumter coach Tim Medlin is going through difficult times. On the field, the usual suspects are leading the way among state NCAA Division II and NJCAA teams. And, Coastal Carolina and Clemson have high expectations as they begin the 2026 season on Friday. It's a mixed bag for the state's eight other DI schools.
